Hippocrates bring hope to the hopeless
Hippocrates is a Children's Health Centre which improves the life quality of chronically ill children from socially vulnerable families.
By working with parents of young children, Hippocrates are able to give a hope to the family and prevent the child being abandoned to a life locked away in an institution.
Through rehabilitation and parental education Hippocrates facilitates the children's integration into society. The aim is to optimise the child’s potential for the future through physical control and development of their young bodies.
Future Plans
ChildAid is hoping to relocate Hippocrates to a larger, purpose-built premises so they can help more children with enhanced services and with successful integration into their local communuities. The current premises are far too small and restrict the provision of high quality care.
Land has been purchased and designs drawn up for a 2-phase development. Foundations will soon be laid but additional funds are urgently needed to bring this vision into reality - find out more >>
