You can directly help to transform the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected children. With just 52p a day – that's £16 per month – you can make a difference to their lives. 

There are hundreds of children and young people who need you help to give them hope, love and opportunity.

Young orphans who "graduate" from state care face immense difficulty in joining the society that abandoned them at a young age. Over 50% of young girls face the prospect of prostitution with a similar number of boys turing to drugs and crime. ChildAid's first purpose built family foster home will provide a secure and loving Christian home for 10 teenage orphans where for 2-3 years they will not only receive the full care and attention of Sasha and Igor as "foster parents" but they will also receive independent living skills coaching and ongoing help to secure a better, positive future - built on the foundations of Christ's love for them. We are looking forward to buidling a second home adjacent to this.

See the difference you make

Child sponsorship enables you to make a lasting difference but unlike other forms of giving, you can actually see the difference you are making. Sharing a personal connection with your sponsored child can be a rewarding and enlightening experience for you both. The small management amount taken from your gift enables ChildAid to send you

  • an introductory pack including a photograph and details on their circumstances and the area they live in
  • update reports twice a year, where possible these will include letters or drawings from your child. 
  • Ability for you to write short letters or cards to your sponsored child, which we translate for you and send via our partner.

Your address is not provided to the partner or the child (and in the same way we do we not give you the address of the child).

How will my sponsorship money be spent?

With the exception of £1 per month, every penny of your sponsorship money is spent on the child's needs.

This includes:

  • medicine or special needs equipment
Adriana's family is extremely poor. She has spina bifida and will need an expensive operation. In the meantime sponsorship is ensuring that she receives therapeutic care.

  • food, fuel and clothing
Alexsandr's parents face eviction, onto the streets with temperatures below -40 degrees. As well as helping towards rent, sponsorship has provided essential food, wood and clothing - sponsorship that literally saves lives

  • educational and life-skills coaching
Nelly had no idea how to live outside of an orphanage. Sponsorship means that Nelly was able to receive coaching in living independently, get a job and a place to life - she is now married with her own family and has a good job. 

Our project partners review each child's situation to ensure your money helps every child reach their full potential.
