Add fundraising to anything that you are already doing
Ask local businesses or your own employers to dnate gifts as prizes or to promote your event
Be safe in everything that you do
- ensure that children are supervised (if under 16 they should not ask or collect money unless with an adult)
- make sure that the environment around is safe.
- do not do anything hazardous unless with trained professionals
- have first aid available
Be Green and Fair
- try and use Fair Trade goods (eg FairTrade coffee and sugar for coffee mornings)
- recycle where you can
- ensure that your environment is not damaged in anything that you do
