Transforming life quality for disabled children in Moldova
Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Europe. Largely an agricultural society employment opportunities are difficult - and any opportunities for those with a disability are even harder.
ChildAid has worked in Moldova since 2000 and seek to create opportunities for children living with disabilities, either though free therapies for the poorest families, social welfare support or educational inclusion.
Our two partners in the country are Hippocrates and Speranta and we have been delighted to have worked with the latter on a five year programme of inclusion funded by the UK Government's Department for International Development.
