Our work in Moldova

Transforming life quality for disabled children in Moldova

Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Europe. Largely an agricultural society, employment opportunities are difficult - and any opportunities for those with a disability are even harder.

Moldova is currently at a crossroads as it looks increasingly towards Europe and yet is still heavily reliant on trade with Russia.

ChildAid has worked in Moldova since 2000 and seek to create opportunities for children living with disabilities, either through free therapies for the poorest families, social welfare support or educational and social inclusion.

We are delighted to work with three outstanding partners -  The Tony Hawks Centre, Ora Moldova and their day centre, Esther House, and Mad-Aid supporting a wider range of beneficiaries.
