It is sad that after so many years since perestroika there is still a desperate need to support families, children and young people who have been neglected and ignored. Our partners have maintained their steadfast approach to alleviate poverty and ease the suffering of children and families who are dependent on the support they receive during these harsh economic times.

We have, again, during 2010/2011 crossed new thresholds with our first ever construction project, the foster home in Mukachevo, taking shape and nearing completion during this period and our commencement of a second construction project, this time of a multi-functional rehabilitation centre in Moldova.

The launch of our new website will, we hope, attract more interest and support especially in the area of companies and grant making foundations with whom we currently have only a limited profile.

ChildAid’s activities have equipped and enabled each of our partners to undertake the specific purposes which they are involved in as they transform lives of children, young people and families in need or who are disadvantaged and seek to improve their quality of life.
